Typical ISO shipping containers come standard with 1 – 1/8” thick marine grade plywood. These floors are stable, strong and suitable for most storage applications. We have found that many customers prefer a different flooring material. The Rhino liner® coating is well known for truck bed applications hover it is is also an excellent option for commercial applications such as shipping container modifications. The material is made from polyurethane or polyurea and will not warp, crack or peel in harsh environments or uses. The Rhino liner flooring is also non-skid and can bee applied in a verity of thicknesses to meet your requirements.
Vinyl floor covering is a clean oil resistant and fire retardant and comes in various colors. Vinyl floor option is great for portable office environments and various workshops. These floors are also easier to clean than traditional plywood flooring.
Installing steel sheets over existing wood floor is a great option if you need a sturdier stronger floor depending on your application. These sheets are continuously welded at the edges and seams and provide a strong option for your modified ISO Container.
